Mission Statement

We are a Club Sport at the University of Washington, Seattle. Boxing is a USA Boxing and NCBA sanctioned sport. We are a community of UW students from all around the nation that have come together to for one main purpose, which is to create a positive environment for students to build their self-confidence and self-esteem while competing through the art of boxing. As a community of young adults we emphasize the importance of teamwork and self-discipline in order for students to develop into athletes of good sportsmanship and leaders of character that will represent the University of Washington as future alumni. By striving for physical, mental, and academic excellence, we encourage our members to broaden their collegiate experience by participating in a team environment with the ability to develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills invaluable outside of the ring. In short, our mission is to develop students into champions not only in boxing, but in life.
